We do not install. We do not sell. We refer 3 pre-vetted installers, you compare 3 fixed-price quotes, you choose. Adelaide pays Australia's highest power prices and gets some of its best sun - a typical 6.6kW system pays back in 4 to 5 years.

Why a referral, not an installer
We have no installation team to sell. That is the entire point.
South Australia's biggest solar fear is being sold a system by someone who disappears. A referral service removes that conflict: our only job is to put the right installer in front of you.
Pre-vetted, not random
Every installer holds current SAA accreditation and a valid SA Electrical Contractor's licence. We check both registers before connecting you.
Brand-agnostic referral
We have no panels or inverters to clear. We refer the installer who fits your roof, your bill and your budget, not the brand someone is pushing.
Fixed-price quotes
Three written, fixed-price quotes you can lay side by side. No kitchen-table pressure, no moving numbers.
Adelaide-specific
SAPN connection rules, heritage overlays, salt-air zones and the 44c tariff trap - the local detail a national comparison site misses.
Adelaide system sizes, 2026
What size, what output, what it costs.
Real installed prices after the federal STC rebate, with the average daily output Adelaide's 4.2 to 4.5 peak sun hours deliver. The 6.6kW system is the most-installed size in metro Adelaide for good reason.
Full cost breakdown| System | Avg output | Installed (post-rebate) | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3kW | ~12.6 kWh/day | $3,500 - $4,500 | 1-bed home, retiree |
| 5kW | ~21 kWh/day | $4,500 - $6,200 | Couple, 2-bed home |
| 6.6kW | ~27.7 kWh/day | $5,500 - $8,500 | Most Adelaide homes |
| 10kW | ~42 kWh/day | $9,000 - $13,500 | Large home, pool, EV |
| 13kW | ~54 kWh/day | $11,500 - $15,500 | Premium, 3-phase |
Ranges, not single numbers - specifications and warranties vary. Always compare 3 quotes. STC rebate steps down annually.

Solar Panels Adelaide: common questions
How are the quotes free?
Installers in our network pay a small referral fee only when work proceeds. You pay $0, and you can say no to all 3 quotes. There is never a charge to the homeowner or business making the enquiry.
Why 3 quotes and not 1?
Solar pricing varies 30-40% between quality installers for the same system size. Three quotes shows you the real Adelaide market range and exposes outliers. The Clean Energy Council recommends 3 quotes as the minimum before signing.
How do you vet the installers?
Every installer we refer holds current Solar Accreditation Australia (formerly CEC) accreditation and a valid SA Electrical Contractor's licence under the Plumbers, Gas Fitters and Electricians Act 1995. We verify both registers before any customer is connected to that installer.
Is solar still worth it in Adelaide in 2026?
Yes. Adelaide pays Australia's highest grid electricity prices, around $0.42 to $0.45 per kWh in 2026, and gets 4.2 to 4.5 peak sun hours a day. A typical 6.6kW system pays back in 4 to 5 years even with low feed-in tariffs, because self-consumption now drives the savings.
What areas do you cover?
All of metro Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills (Stirling, Bridgewater, Aldgate), and the Fleurieu Peninsula (Victor Harbor, Goolwa, McLaren Vale). If we cannot match you with 3 local installers we tell you upfront.
Will I lose my old 44c feed-in tariff if I add a battery?
Yes. Per sa.gov.au, adding battery storage cancels the legacy 44c distributor feed-in tariff that some pre-2011 systems still receive. Whether the battery still makes financial sense depends on your daily export volume. Our quote process flags this so your installer can run the maths both ways.
